Kentucky bluegrass band The Creekers have released their second album, Follow the Sound, marking another milestone in their growing music career.
Released October 30 through Warner Records Nashville, the 12-track project blends traditional bluegrass with country, pop, and other musical influences. The band describes its distinctive style as creekergrass.
The six-member group formed in eastern Kentucky in 2022 and initially performed in small clubs while balancing regular jobs. Their career gained momentum after their song Tennessee attracted widespread attention on social media in 2025.
Since then, The Creekers have performed at the Grand Ole Opry, Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, and Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
The new album includes Better Way, Little Man, Kentucky, and East Kentucky Sunrise, with several songs reflecting the group’s Appalachian roots and experiences on the road.
The Creekers also received the 2026 International Bluegrass Music Association Momentum Award for Band of the Year.
With a growing audience and performances alongside Turnpike Troubadours and Gavin Adcock, the band continues building its career while maintaining its connection to traditional roots music.
